OVFC to Host Semi-Annual Bull Roast
The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company will host their semi annual bull roast on Saturday March 3. The bull roast will be held at the fire station at 1425 Annapolis Road in Odenton, MD from 7:00 to 11:00pm. There will be set-ups and games of chance throughout the night. The menu for the night includes Country Sausage on the Pit, chilled salt water oysters on the half shell, Pit cooked sirloin of beef, oyster stew and assorted desserts. Tickets can be purchased from any member for $30 or by calling 410-674-4444.
Car Seat Inspection Informaton
The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company cannot perform car seat inspections for the public. Information on the various organizations that can perform this service can be found here
Photo Fund Drive Underway
The OVFC has authorized Volunteer Fund Raising Dimensions (VFRD) to conduct our annual door-to-door Photo Fundraiser from now through February 2012.
Our VFRD representatives, will carry photo identification and a letter of introduction and will be offering a complimentary 10" X 13" Color Family Portrait to each participating family (resident). A receipt will be issued for all donations. Checks should be made payable to the ODENTON VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY INC. Portraits will be taken at the Odenton Vol. Fire Co. at a later date. For your convenience, each participating family (resident) will be given a coupon with contact information and a date for their portrait sitting.
Your cooperation and generous support of our past fund raising effort is greatly appreciated. This year your continued support is especially important in helping us with the expenses of purchasing a new Pumper Engine to replace an aging 1984 apparatus and the ever increasing operational expenses associated the high quality of volunteer services we have provided for over 80 years. Since joining the company, Susan has consistently made herself available to perform various support and administrative duties for the fire company. |
