Firefighter/EMT Jeff Hankins has received the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association’s (AACVFA) Member of the Quarter Award. Jeff joined OVFC in 2016 at age 16 and completed all required training to become a Firefighter I by age 18, and obtained his EMT certification in 2019. He responded to 185 fire calls and 18 ambulance calls in 2019 and so far in 2020 he has logged 89 fire calls and 18 ambulance calls. Jeff is also a member of the Public Education Committee, coordinating events for community outreach. OVFC is proud of the accomplishments of Jeff Hankins, was he was recognized by AACVFA as their outstanding Member of the Quarter.
