Welcome to the Hall Rental page for the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company!

Our community has relied on OVFC for generations, and our hall continues that tradition by offering a warm, versatile space for gatherings of all kinds.

Hall Space

Our hall is designed to support a variety of event types from elegant receptions and family celebrations to business functions and nonprofit events.

Located at the back of the fire station with a private guest entrance, our rental hall provides a welcoming space that can be customized to fit a variety of events and layouts. The facility is fully ADA compliant and accommodates up to 250 guests, making it a great option for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations.

Training Facility

Planning something smaller?

We also rent out our Training Facility building, which accommodates up to 50 guests and is ideal for meetings, trainings, showers, and smaller gatherings.

Supporting the Community

When you host your event at OVFC, you’re also helping support the mission of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company. Rental proceeds help fund operations, equipment, and services that allow us to continue serving the Odenton and surrounding communities.

Rental Hours & Fees
Standard rentals include up to four (4) hours of event time, with additional hours available if needed. Additional setup or food prep time may also be added if needed.

Hall Attendant Requirements

To help ensure a safe event environment, OVFC Hall Attendants/Crowd Managers are only required for certain events based on guest count and alcohol service:

Fewer than 50 guests (no alcohol): No Hall Attendant required
Fewer than 200 guests with alcohol: One (1) Hall Attendant required
200+ guests (with or without alcohol): Two (2) Hall Attendants required

For events exceeding four (4) hours, the Hall Attendant fee increases to $100 per attendant.

Additional safety or security requirements may apply for public events, fundraisers, or high-capacity gatherings.

Additional Information

Alcohol may be served with a valid Anne Arundel County One-Day Liquor License obtained by the event organizer. Guests and attendees are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages (BYOB).
Event insurance is required

Special Event Conditions

Events meeting any of the following criteria may require additional review and formal approval by the OVFC Hall Manager and/or the Board of Directors:

Attendance exceeding 250 people
Events open to the general public
Events involving ticket sales or outside promotion
Requests for policy exceptions

Renters will be notified if Board approval is required. Requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event to allow time for review. Additional conditions may be imposed at the discretion of the Board. OVFC reserves the right to deny rental requests that conflict with the organization’s mission, policies, or community standards.

The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for new members who want to make a difference in their community. Whether you’re interested in serving as a firefighter, an emergency medical technician (EMT), or supporting the department in a non‑operational administrative role, there’s a place for you here.

Each role—firefighter, EMT, and administrative member—has its own training requirements and participation expectations. No matter which path you choose, you’ll be joining a dedicated team committed to serving the residents of Odenton and the surrounding area.

Patches and Coins: Unfortunately, we do not have the resources or logistics to send out patches and/or coins.
