Local Heroes Award

Adam Young received the 2020 Hometown Heroes Award from the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Odenton. Adam was recognized for all of the great work he does for the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company and the greater Odenton community. Adam’s dedication and performance as a volunteer has been outstanding. He is a regular member of the Wednesday night duty crew and routinely fills in on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday crews as his schedule permits. Adam dedicates 30 plus hours per week to the OVFC, and last year was one of our top two responders with 429 emergency calls!
