Maryland Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service

Firefighters who died on duty were honored by the Maryland Fire Rescue Services Memorial Foundation at its annual ceremony in Annapolis on June 3rd, 2018.  The event is normally held at the Maryland Fallen Firefighters Memorial on Calvert Street, but due to the rain, it was moved indoors to a nearby parking garage.

Governor Larry Hogan was on hand to give remarks and greet each of the honor guards assembled from across the state, including those from Odenton Volunteer Fire Company.  The governor took time to meet each of the honor guard members.

Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Fire and EMS operations are conducted by its members primarily in the Maryland communities of Odenton and Severn.
