Angelique “Angie” Harper passed away on November 14, 2017 at the age of 46. She was a dialysis patient for over six years and did not let her condition stop her from enjoying life. She encouraged others to be strong and take control of their lives no matter what they may be facing.
Angie joined the Odenton VFC Ladies Auxiliary on January 3, 2006. She served as Color Bearer from 2010-2012. Angie was a very active member until her health further declined. She loved working the lollipop stand at the annual carnival. She helped with Lunch with the Easter Bunny, Lunch with Santa Claus, pre-teen dances, bull roasts, Odenton Day, and whatever the auxiliary needed her help with. She was a member that you could always count on to help.
Angie went to Nursing School and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She also volunteered with the Community Nurses Unit of Chews United Methodist Church. She had a heart big enough to care for the world. She was a quiet person. Angie had a good character and a magnetic personality whether with people she knew or with strangers. She enjoyed a good conversation and was willing to do anything for anybody. She also enjoyed traveling. Whenever the car turned, she was ready.
Angie is sorely missed by all who came to know her and love her.
