Mary Lee Dymicki of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company (LA OVFC) died on June 6, 2020 at the age of 79. Her husband predeceased her. She had no children.
She joined the LA OVFC in 1959 and was an active member for 61 years at the time of her death. She was a Life Member. Mary Lee loved attending Food Truck Thursday nights at the Odenton VFC and meeting friends there for dinner. She helped with the Ladies Auxiliary fundraisers through the years to include suppers, luncheons, catering events, bull and oyster roasts, crab feasts, flea markets, and craft and vendor shows. Mary Lee’s mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister-in-law were also members of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary Lee was active in the craft group at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was also active in the Glen Burnie Elks. She retired after 40-years from Northrup-Grumman, formerly Westinghouse. She worked as a cashier. After retirement, she organized numerous trips with the Northrup Grumman Veteran’s Association.
Mary Lee was part of every life she touched and will be missed by all who knew her.
