The Sanger Family; Randy, Toni, Faith, Adriana, and Luke Sanger of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company are recipients of the Maryland State Firemen’s Association Family Appreciation Award for 2020. Randy joined OVFC in January 2019. He averages 24 hours per week of duty time. Randy’s wife Toni joined the OVFC in August 2019. She took EMT-B training with Randy. Their daughter Adriana also joined in January 2019. She responded on 153 calls in the last four months of 2019. Their daughter Faith joined in April 2019 and son Luke joined in October 2019.
The Sanger’s are a close-knit family who are dedicated to supporting and serving the OVFC and their greater community. Each member of the family is either now a responding member or in training to be one. The Sangers are not only contributing to emergency operations but actively support the administrative activities and fundraising programs
